BAS was one of four environmental consultants recently selected by the Riverside County Transportation Commission (RCTC) to provide on-call environmental services for ongoing street and highway improvement projects.
The scope of the project includes Phase I and II environmental assessments, preparation of Remedial Investigations / Feasibility Studies, remedial action planning and remedial design, and remediation oversight in support of transportation improvement projects. Field investigations will include geophysical investigations, soil gas surveys, drilling, sampling, and laboratory analysis.

Created in 1976, the RCTC is Riverside County’s primary transportation agency. One of RCTC’s primary responsibilities is to administer highway, regional arterial street, road, and transit projects funded by voter-approved Measure A.
BAS has 13 years experience supporting public transportation authorities in the development of commuter rail, bus, street, highway, and freeway systems in Southern California. Clients have included the Los Angeles Metropolitan Transportation Authority, California Department of Transportation, Orange County Transportation Authority, and Los Angeles to Pasadena Gold Line Construction Authority.
