In a move to further diversify the
breadth of services it can provide to its clients, BAS has added KFM
Engineering, Inc. to the BAS Group of companies
KFM is a diversified transportation
planning and engineering firm that was founded in 1998. The firm
specializes in street and highway improvement, right-of-way engineering,
railway engineering, and flood control projects, and has worked with
municipalities and private developers on projects throughout southern
California.
Significant projects conducted by KFM have included the Orange County Gateway Railway Lowering
Project, a program to lower five miles of Burlington Northern Santa Fe
railway line in northern Orange County into a 65-foot wide by 30-foot
deep trench.

Additional KFM projects include the
Katella Avenue and Imperial Highway Smart Street Projects, and street
improvement projects in the cities of Anaheim, Irvine, Costa Mesa,
Newport Beach, and La Habra.
The firm will continue to operate as
KFM Engineering, under the direction of current President Rick Kreuzer.
In addition, KFM will continue to be based in its south Orange
County headquarters located at 26672 Towne Centre Drive, Foothill Ranch,
California 92610.
