Corridor Widening - Los Angeles County, California
Responsibilities: Conducted Initial Site Assessment
of multiple parcels in support of the widening of I-5 between the Los
Angeles/Orange County line, and I-5/I-605 interchange. The project
involved assessment of more than 350 parcels along the corridor.

Prado
Flood Control Basin Enlargement - Southern California
Responsibilities: Conducting investigations to identify and
characterize the extent of contamination at properties that are being
acquired by the County of Orange as part of the expansion of the
Prado
Dam
Reservoir
Basin. Included Phase I and II investigations of agricultural and
dairy operations as well as undeveloped properties adjacent to the Prado
Dam
Basin.

Beaudry Street Redevelopment Site - Los Angeles, California
Responsibilities:
Performed site assessment,
conducted subsurface investigation, and provided methane migration
mitigation designs for private developer constructing a
mixed-use residential complex in downtown Los Angeles |

Staples
Center - Los Angeles, California
Responsibilities: Performed a Phase I ESA of the North Hall of
the Los Angeles Convention Center, as well as more than 100 adjacent
parcels in support of the development of the Staples Center.
Performed follow-up Phase II investigations of several properties, and
provided support during removal of 3 USTs during arena construction.

Union Station Property - Los Angeles, California
Responsibilities:
BAS conducted a Phase II site assessment at a parcel at Union Station
Plaza where a developer wished to construct a commercial facility and
children's day care center. A screening-level risk evaluation was
performed in accordance with Department of Toxic Substances Control
Preliminary Endangerment Assessment guidelines. |

Redevelopment Area - Compton, California
Responsibilities:
A Phase I site assessment was performed on 34 parcels in a City
redevelopment area. The site assessment complied with ASTM
Standard E1527-05 and the EPA All Appropriate Inquiry (AAI) standards. |

Fruit / Triangle Site - Fresno, California
Responsibilities:
BAS conducted a site investigation for the Fresno Housing Authority in
support of the redevelopment of the Fruit/Triangle Site. The
investigation was funded through Brownfield’s Assessment grants obtained
by the Housing Authority, and was performed using EPA’s Triad work
strategy.
