Site Remediation Projects

Fairchild Controls Site - Manhattan Beach, California

Responsibilities:  Designed and implemented Remedial Action Plan for a former aerospace manufacturing site.  Evaluated the most effective technology for remediation of high levels of chromium, PCE and TCE in the groundwater, and designed and operated of a full-scale vapor extraction and treatment system.

Norwalk Tank Farm - Norwalk, California

Responsibilities: Prepared and implemented Remedial Action Plan for a former crude oil storage and refining facility.  Project involved excavation and disposal of contaminated soils, design of a soil vapor extraction system, preparation of plans and specifications, construction management; and treatment system operation and maintenance.  

Valle Vista Site - Hemet, California

Responsibilities: Provided site investigation, remediation design, and construction oversight during clean-up of former burn dump site where a major Southern California home builder was constructing a residential development.

EPC Eastside Disposal Site - Kern County, California

Responsibilities:  Performed geologic/hydrogeologic characterization and prepared engineering feasibility study for the remediation and closure of this site used formerly for the disposal of oil drilling wastes.
