Prima Deshecha Landfill - Orange County, California Responsibilities: BAS has been providing permitting, engineering, and design services at this 1,500-acre site since 1997. This has included master planning, expansion perrmitting, and preparation of construction level grading and drainage design plans, and liner and LCRS design plans. BAS is also providing construction management services in support of development projects at the site. |

Mid-Valley Sanitary
Landfill - Ontario, California
Responsibilities: BAS provided permitting, engineering, design, and construction management support at 500-acre Class III sanitary landfill since 1995. This has included design of five liner phases. Liner systems have been designed to provide uninterrupted refuse service, while maintaining a minimum of one to two years of disposal capacity. |

SR-85 Landfill -
Phoenix, Arizona Responsibilities: Provided engineering, design, and construction management entrance facilities for new landfill being developed by the City of Phoenix. This includes design of a fueling facility, equipment maintenance facility, scale house, and support facilities. |

Santa Cruz
Landfill - Santa Cruz, California Responsibilities: BAS has been providing solid waste engineering services to the City of Santa Cruz since 1994. This has included preparation of construction plans for lined cells, landfill gas services, and master planning. BAS also prepared fill sequencing plans for the remaining portion of the landfill. These plans consisted of five phasing sequences which minimize excavation while maximizing air space available over the life of the landfill. |

Avenal Landfill -
Avenal, California Responsibilities: BAS has been providing multi-disciplined solid waste engineering, permitting, and design services in support of the development of this municipal landfill since 2002. This included engineering and permitting support for major lateral and vertical expansion of the site. This included development of new master cut and fill plans, and revisions to the site closure plans. |

County Landfill - Kalispell, Montana
Responsibilities: BAS has been the County of Flathead's solid waste engineering consultant since 2000. Projects have included mass excavation and soil berm fill design and permitting, liner system design, landfill gas engineering, and negotiation / liaison with the Montana Department of Environmental Quality. |

Mexico Regional Landfill
Responsibilities: BAS is providing engineering and design services to the Herzog Companies for the development of this regional municipal solid waste disposal site. This has included updating the site's master development plan configurations to utilize existing engineering design to maximize waste disposal capacity, and to provide a minimum of 10 years of site life. |

South Hilo
Landfill - Hilo, Hawaii Responsibilities: BAS has been providing solid waste engineering and planning services in support of the development of the South Hilo Sanitary Landfill. This has included development of landfill capacity estimates, slope stability analyses, review of the current site monitoring program, design of an alternative final cover system, preparation of updates to the site closure plans, and development of cell sequencing plans. |
