Permitting/Regulatory Compliance Projects

Responsibilities: Provided a variety of permitting and engineering services in support of site development. Completed Report of Facility Information (Joint Technical Document), and Preliminary Closure and Post-Closure Maintenance Plan for Class III Expansion area.  Also assisted with the CIWMP Finding of Conformance and SWFP application package.

Responsibilities: Prepared permitting documents and conceptual design plans for a proposed 185-acre landfill in Northern San Diego County.  Prepared Joint Technical Document including Preliminary Closure and Post-Closure Plan Element, and provided technical support during development of Environmental Impact Report.

Responsibilities: Providing on-call planning and permitting support services for the County Solid Waste Management Division.  This includes CEQA services; preparation of 5-Year Permit Reviews, permit revisions, planning studies, and landfill master plans; financial assurance analysis; and operations reviews.

Responsibilities:  Provided regulatory compliance in support of a variety of improvement activities at the site.  Included preparation of Joint Technical Document, and negotiated approval of approval of two alternative liner designs for future lined refuse cells.
