Prima Deshecha Landfill – San Juan Capistrano, California
Provided engineering, design, and permitting services in support of ongoing development of a 1,500-acre regional metropolitan landfill. Prepared construction level bid documents for the phases of development undergoing construction during the term of this contract. Prepared construction plans and specifications for mass excavation and groundwater protection systems for Phases A, A1, B, B1, C1, and C2 in Zone 1.

Las Pulgas Landfill – Camp Pendleton, California
Designed 19.5-acre Phase II liner expansion at an operating landfill facility at Camp Pendleton Marine Corps Base. Prepared conceptual designs, developed construction plans and specifications. Designed leachate management system to isolate leachate from new cell from liquids from previous cells. Providing liaison / negotiation with San Diego Regional Water Quality Control Board.

Victorville Landfill – San Bernardino County, California
Provided design and construction engineering support for development of a 14-acre Phase 1B Stage 2 liner system at this high desert landfill. Conducted engineering analysis to identify the most advantageous location for soil stockpile, prepared liner design calculations, construction plans and specifications.

SR85 Landfill Entrance Facilities – Phoenix, Arizona
Designed entrance and administrative support facilities for a new municipal solid waste landfill being developed by the City of Phoenix. Site features included scalehouse, administrative buildings, and vehicle maintenance facilities. Performed civil design for building pads, designed underground utilities, water supply and fire suppression systems, septic system, and site entrance road.

Carson Marketplace - Carson, California
Providing engineering, design, and landfill gas management support to development team constructing commercial and residential development on the 157-acre Cal Compact Landfill. Project will feature more than 2.4 million square feet of pile-supported structural concrete slabs supporting the buildings.

Puente Hills Intermodal Facility – Industry, California
Providing engineering and design of intermodal facility serving a waste-by-rail program being developed by the Los Angeles County Sanitation Districts. Responsible for facility layout, design of access roads and three bridges, drainage improvements, pump station design, and interface with Los Angeles County Department of Public Works and Caltrans.

Billy Wright Transfer Station – Merced County, California
Preparing construction plans and specifications for a new large volume materials recovery and transfer/processing facility. Responsibilities include facility permitting, civil design of site improvements, oversight of design of 20,000 square foot transfer station building, electrical and communications design, plumbing and mechanical design, and development of landfill gas control measures.
