Example Projects:
	San Diego Long-Term Resource Management Options Strategic Plan Preparing a long-term solid waste strategic plan. Identifying feasible waste management options; evaluating opportunities for promoting Zero Waste; and investigating feasibility of solid waste processing and disposal programs, facilities and technologies.
	Paso Robles Solid Waste Master Plan Developing a master plan level review of solid waste programs, practices, operations, and infrastructure that can be applied to improve sustainability of City of Paso Robles' solid waste system. Evaluating zero waste programs and infrastructure (i.e., recycling facilities, composting facilities), alternative energy production, landfill gas utilization, and landfill optimization.
	Orange County Conversion Technology Study and Report Assisted Clements Environmental developing a Waste Conversion Technology Study and Report, which evaluated the applicability of potential technologies for renewable sustainable and safe solutions to reduce solid waste. This included technical analysis to determine an appropriate site for a waste conversion facility at one of OC Waste & Recycling’s existing landfills.
	Regional Landfill Options for Orange County Study Prepared strategic plan that evaluated waste disposal options and technological alternatives that could be used to meet the waste disposal needs of the citizens of Orange County. Evaluated use of alternative disposal technologies, waste export, and expansion of existing facilities.
	San Bernardino County Partnership Strategy Implementation Plan Developed long-range solid waste planning study for the County of San Bernardino. Assessed current status of system of 41 active and inactive landfills, five transfer stations, and community collection centers. Evaluated alternative system development costs, liabilities, and performed financial modeling.
	Landfill Automation Master Plan – Orange County, California Prepared master plan for automation of fee collection and accounts receivable system for County of Orange’s waste management system. Designed RFID-based unattended lanes and video monitoring systems to track inbound trucks and containers at scales; provided design, and engineering support during construction of modernized scale facilities.
	Maricopa County Strategic Solid Waste Plan Prepared a strategic long-term plan for waste management operations in the Phoenix metropolitan area. Evaluated current solid waste disposal program, waste tire program, household hazardous waste program, illegal dumping oversight program, and the solid waste transfer station program.
